As demolition started the roof had to be removed.

In August 2021 a call went out to ask for help in removing some of the debris from the demolition. It was a warm and sunny morning on Saturday 28 August when around twenty volunteers stepped forward … and put in more than a shift!

The original floor is proving to be quite hard to remove and modern machinery is needed to break up the work from a century ago.
